New Jersey averages 436 requests per day according to official statistics published by the FBI between 11/01/2023 to 10/31/2024. An average of 60.12% of all firearm transactions are handguns, so we estimate the revenue generated due to the unconstitional states processes to be a minimum of $4,870,177 per year . This includes $16 NICS fee for pistols, $15 NICS fee for other firearms along with $25 for each pistol permit. In the year of 2023, the NICS fee alone accounted for $2,494,103.
If you include the 24,346 PTC applications in the last 12 months at $200 per permit add another $4,869,200 per year! This would be a total of $9,739,377 per year!
If the original proposed budget passes (PTC $400, Pistol Permit $50, Background Check of $45), the illegal POLL TAX would be $21,672,490 per year!
None of these figures include FID Cards, FID Renewals, Duplicate FID cards, SB212A fee, fingerprint fees, online surcharges or unused pistol permits! How about the SALES TAX REVENUE on 158,994+ firearm purchases per year and millions of rounds of ammunition as well!

James Duane - You Have the Right to Remain Innocent
Law professor James J. Duane became a viral sensation thanks to a 2008 lecture outlining the reasons why you should never agree to answer questions from the police―especially if you are innocent and wish to stay out of trouble with the law. In this timely, relevant, and pragmatic new book, he expands on that presentation, offering a vigorous defense of every citizen’s constitutionally protected right to avoid self-incrimination. Getting a lawyer is not only the best policy, Professor Duane argues, it’s also the advice law-enforcement professionals give their own kids.
The Founders' Second Amendment: Origins of the Right to Bear Arms
Stephen P. Halbrook's The Founders' Second Amendment is the first book-length account of the origins of the Second Amendment, based on the Founders' own statements as found in newspapers, correspondence, debates, and resolutions. Mr. Halbrook investigates the period from 1768 to 1826, from the last years of British rule and the American Revolution through to the adoption of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and the passing of the Founders' generation. His book offers the most comprehensive analysis of the arguments behind the drafting and adoption of the Second Amendment, and the intentions of the men who created it.

1984 & Animal Farm Set
The book everyone thinks doesn't apply to their own little brand of authoritarianism. This book, which is a critique of Soviet Russia, also focuses on concepts such as the pressure of today's politics, the injustice in society, the desire to standardize people, the control of the mind and the destruction of individuality. The novel, which includes realistic aspects as well as utopian, invites you to think in the social order you live in. You will not be able to let go of this novel, which gives clues about where we might be dragged if no action is taken. Did you know that? George Orwell actually chose 1980 as the year the book takes place. However, as the completion of the book took longer due to the effect of Orwell's illness, the year was changed to 1982, and then it was decided in 1984. The reason for this is that Orwell completed the writing of the book in 1948.
Atlas Shrugged
Who is John Galt? When he says that he will stop the motor of the world, is he a destroyer or a liberator? Why does he have to fight his battles not against his enemies but against those who need him most? Why does he fight his hardest battle against the woman he loves? You will know the answer to these questions when you discover the reason behind the baffling events that play havoc with the lives of the amazing men and women in this book. You will discover why a productive genius becomes a worthless playboy...why a great steel industrialist is working for his own destruction...why a composer gives up his career on the night of his triumph...why a beautiful woman who runs a transcontinental railroad falls in love with the man she has sworn to kill.

Why Isn't NJ Instant?
Between 1991 and 1992, the primary obstacle revolved around the immediate processing of background checks. Initially proposed by Brady, the waiting period stood at 7 days before being shortened to 5 days. This timeframe consistently impeded the bill's advancement. Eventually, negotiations settled on a brief 5-day waiting period until technological infrastructure could facilitate instant processing. However, despite excessive fees and surplus state funds, insufficient funding led to the de-facto reinstatement of the waiting period, once considered a deal-breaker.
Notably, while other states lacked background checks during Hinckley's assassination attempt on Reagan in the mid-1980s, New Jersey had already implemented the Firearms Identification Card (FID) and the Permit to Purchase (P2P) since 1966, exceeding the necessary checks.
The Firearm Identification Card (FID) acted as a precursor to the Law-Abiding Responsible Citizen (L-ARC) system, with the Permit to Purchase (P2P) serving as an additional measure due to out-of-state and mail-order purchases. In accordance with the Heller methodology, it seems the P2P requirement is outdated, suggesting New Jersey should choose between the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) or the FID, not both. Moreover, the NICS should remain free, as originally intended. It's apparent that the NICS not only generates excess revenue but it's also a power expansion of law enforcement capabilities, allowing for increased staffing and jurisdiction.
